Boo..Part Deux

I really don't want to sound unappreciative, but....

There is a man who lives down the street from us who goes to church with the neighbors who live to the right of us. Last mowing season, he would come along and edge our yard, along with our neighbors. He never asked, and never wanted anything in return. Of course I thought it was a very nice thing to do and always intended to bake him brownies.

He's back. Today. The day after no naps. During naptime.

Avery was in the dozing stage of almost asleep, but not quite yet. Not anymore!

Why do these people feel the need to get their (and our!) yards into ship shape the second a blade of grass rears its head? Why?!

Oh NO! I just got up to go to the kitchen and was pleased that the noise was gone.

Now he's backing his lawnmower off of his trailer!!!! AHHHH!

Now I'm turning into the little old lady who peeks through her blinds, checking out what everyone is doing.

I'm sad for you, but you're really making me laugh!!! :)

Our neighbor across the street is a fanatic about blowing the leaves/pine needles off the driveway. But then, it's not enough to have a clean driveway, he has to have the street--the ENTIRE street--in front of his house clean...so he's out there blowing away, every other day, for at least an hour!! At least it's usually in the morning! :)

Not only are you the lady that peers through her blinds, you're also the lady that tells everyone else what you saw out there, lol!!
I'm so sorry... but the comments from you are stinkin hysterical! :)
Here's to the kiddos sleeping well tonight!

Just be glad you don't live in our neighborhood, where the roofers are banging at all hours of daytime! It would really stink if I had kiddos trying to nap.

{womp wooomp}

P.S. What in the world kind of grass do y'all have that needs to be mowed already?? Good grief!

You are too funny!! I hate it when some nice sales man or delivery man rings my doorbell just as Will has fallen asleep. I try to remember to put my little sticky note that says, baby sleeping, do not ring the doorbell out but I sometimes forget. So frustrating!!! Maybe you could put a sign by your mailbox that says, Baby sleeping please put away your yard tools!!

That's hilarious (your comments)! Don't you love peeking out your blinds at all of the happenings in your neighborhood?

I know that it must be pretty annoying, but I would LOVE to have that man come and edge my yard. But, only during our "awake" times!

Quiet nap time hours from 12-3 (depending on your child, of course) should be in the constitution...

Oh, and to drown out noise, I recently started turning on the exhaust fan in the bathroom near Conner's bedroom during nap. It really does help if you have that option!

This is like the little Italian neighbor we had who would IRON her cleaning rags - and EVERYTHING else? I so wanted to say 'why?' . . .
