A Smile is Worth a Thousand Words
I have several pet peeves, but one of them is when people don't smile back at you when you give them a nod. It seems the cordial thing to do when someone acknowledges you in a friendly manner is to be friendly back. So, one of my goals in life is to make people smile back. Since we've been in Montgomery, this has been a difficult feat to accomplish. I've actually started to get a little discouraged because people just seem to be happy to be grumpy. This afternoon's trek to Wal-Mart has shed new light. I've discovered a full fledged way to make people smile or even go as far as talk to me. Here's the trick. Make sure Avery is with me! I've always known that people love babies, but it's really unbelievable when you link that with the fact that apparently Avery has the same idea about making people smile that I do...but...she's better at it.

Adorable pic of Avery! You guys always have such beautiful smiles.
Thanks! We took that picture on father's day. Kenny's eyes are a little weird, but it was the best one of Avery. At least I only have to worry about one baby smiling at a time! :)
I know. Monty is a grump town. ok not really. But I was amazed at how i am litreally stalked when i go to walmart, to the point of oh my gosh stop touching my baby, and are they going to follow me to the car? I have hoards of fan clubs whenever I go. Its impossible to get in and out without someone smiling/talking to you, which is a good thing!
Jamey, I love the picture of Kenny and Avery. We miss you guys up here. Tell Kenny I said hey.
Well of course Avery is the best! She's so gorgeous only An idiot wouldn't respond to my beautiful granddaughter. Hugs, Kat
