Fooey

Amidst Braden's squawks and Avery's "momma! momma! momma!" I scurried from room to room, gathering laundry so I could maybe see one of my accomplishments today.

Something caught my attention; it was a faint "rriiiiiiippppp." Not the excited RIIIP of someone tearing into an ever so sought after present, but a slow, meticulous tear of someone not quite sure of their boundaries.

I tiptoed into the living room, sure of what I was going to find. There Avery stood, opening a present from under the tree.

Who knew someone could jump so high from a whispered, "psst."

After an explanation and a tricky puzzle of tape and wrapping paper, we continued on with our day.

The good news: It was a present for me.

The bad news: The box was marked "5,000 white envelopes."

That's hilarious. So, should we all be expecting letters in the mail from you?

I love that picture! I'm sure that you got a big laugh out of her getting scared. Joshua and Abby Kate have left OUR presents alone. The other night we were at The Clarks and Abby Kate decided to open up one of THEIR presents.

you got me. I bought 5000 envelopes because I knew you could use them judging from the amount of christmas cards we send out...is that not a good gift??

I have to admit that picture is from back in June, but I thought it was her best mischevious grin!

TOO FUNNY! I find it amazing how high they really do jump when they KNOW they are doing something not-so-angelic. Merry Christmas, btw!

Hi there Feisty Fighter!

Sorry I haven't responded to your earlier comment, nor have I blogged in more than a week. I've been working 12 days straight plus Staying at the a nearby hotel three straight saturday nights so that I could do team weather coverage on our Sunday morning show. UGH ~!%&*

Thankfully I have tomorrow off. Maybe in January I'll hop back in the blogosphere. ;)

Merry Christmas!
